Top 10 Dubstep songs update

Posted by: admin on 04/08/2013

We’ve added this special section that will be updated regularly , providing a current list of the most popular Dubstep dance songs for schools.  Since it is an increasingly popular form of dance music and is not included in the playlists of Top 40 or Alternative stations we are going to review the new music to make sure that it is clean and appropriate for teenage audiences at schools.

Mark Andrews of Mixology DJ Service has agreed to be a contributing editor for this section and will  do the research and supply us with the Top 10 songs on a regular basis.

Here is our first Top 10 Dubstep list.  If you have any comments, input or additions that you would like us to consider please let us know in the comments below.

They are good for High School, but what about Middle School (Jr. High)?

I don’t think Dubstep has made it to the Middle Schooler yet. Mostly a high school thing from what I can gather. If anyone has had a different experience I would love to hear from them. Usually trends like this will trickle down to the younger ages if the trend has some staying power. We’ll let you know. Maybe some action at middle schools next school year. We’ll see.
    Thanks for the comment!

I am in the middle school, and I have noticed the comments and would like to say that dubstep has in fact trickled down into middle school and is very popular. Dubstep is even gaining popularity in elementary school, though it is still not as popular there as in middle school or high school.

When my kids asked me to DJ the school dance I said yes! Your site and all the info on trends and what not to play saved me. The kids had fun, the adults had fun and so did I. Thanks for reminding me why DJing is so much fun
